As a remote Behavioral Customer Service Advocate, you'll join a dynamic team of professionals who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Daily Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Customer Service Advocate, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Handling inbound behavioral calls regarding benefits eligibility/claims status, responding to customer inquiries via telephone and written correspondence in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Responding to telephone or written correspondence inquiries from members and/or providers within established timeframes, utilizing current reference materials and available resources
  • Providing assistance to members and/or providers regarding website registration and navigation
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex behavioral health inquiries and ensure seamless customer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

  • 1 year of healthcare call center experience, preferably in a behavioral or crisis call setting
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Schedule and Work Environment

As a remote Behavioral Customer Service Advocate, you'll work a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, with the following hours:

  • 10:30 am - 8:30 pm CST (30-minute lunch break and 2 x 15-minute breaks)
  • Potential for 1 rotating Saturday shift per month during peak periods
