Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to policyholders and interested third parties via inbound calls, emails, and written correspondence. You'll be the face of arenaflex, ensuring that every interaction is handled promptly, professionally, and with a high level of customer satisfaction. Your primary focus will be on first contact resolution, and you'll be expected to maintain adherence to defined operational standards, including attendance, utilization, call quality, and time management.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle high-volume inbound calls, resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on policy coverage, claim status, and other policy-related matters
  • Assist with claim payments and other policy-related tasks as needed
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
  • Review and maintain new and revised procedures regarding policy information
  • Ensure that customer needs are met on every interaction, whether via phone, email, or written correspondence
  • Meet department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

* 1+ years of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with a strong background in customer service and communication

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong remote experience preferred, but not required
  • Reliable internet connection with a minimum upload and download speed of 20 Mbps (hard-wired connection required)
  • Smartphone with VPN access
  • Insurance industry experience considered a plus, but not a requirement
  • Quiet and professional work environment
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm
  • Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Excellent organization and time management skills

Training and Development

* 2-3 weeks of comprehensive training in a classroom setting (Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST)

  • Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Access to industry-leading tools and resources to support your success

Schedule and Availability

* Full-time positions only (no part-time)

  • 40-hour workweek, Monday-Friday, with flexible scheduling between 7:30am-6:30pm CST
  • No weekend shifts unless overtime is presented on the weekend

Equipment and Resources

* Smartphone with VPN access

  • All other equipment and resources provided by arenaflex
