The purpose of this position is to enhance the safety and security of the credit union assets and provide superior member service. The Fraud Analyst will work in conjunction with the Senior Fraud Analyst in reviewing early detection reports to prevent and mitigate fraud. Additionally, the Fraud Analyst will be responsible for receiving and processing member fraud/dispute claims. This position provides value to the Credit Union by reducing losses and resolving card holder disputes in an expedient manner. Responsibilities: Receive and process incoming fraud/dispute claims. Review System Generated Fraud Reports for potential suspicious activity In conjunction with the Senior Fraud Review Specialist, prepare periodic reports regarding the status of credit union assets and assist with fraud related budget projections, historical analysis and forecasting trends Treats all co-workers and members with respect. Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities. Represents the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner. Other related duties as assigned. Maintains member and other sensitive information with confidentiality. Qualifications: 2-3 years’ experience in banking frontline, accounting or teller operations or 1 year experience in banking fraud prevention.
