Full Stack Developer

Remote · USA Full-time New today

We’re an award-winning global outsourcer providing contact center and back office services on behalf of our global clients. Come work at a place where innovation and teamwork come together to support the most exciting missions in the world! Full Stack Developer About us Project Diamond is a software development studio based in Melbourne. We create solutions for an array of partners primarily in the sports media space, as well as content aggregation platforms. These include Sports Entertainment Network (SEN), Netball Australia, Netball Victoria, NBL teams, and more. Everything we do starts with great user experience and design, from which we use innovative and new technologies to create industry leading products. Why work with us? We provide the opportunity to build products to be proud of, while learning new things and developing skills together. The team has a variety of industry experience and history to draw from and iterate on. The team is organised functionally and empowers individuals to make independent decisions and suggestions on products and ideas. Through it all, we like to have fun along the way. About the role and you You’ll play an integral role in shaping the full stack development discipline at Project Diamond, working across both backend services and the internal tools and products that power our operations. You will work alongside existing developers, our designer, and CEO, to build and refine the platforms our team relies on every day — as well as contributing to the external-facing products we deliver for our partners. As with the rest of the team, you will have a passion for delivering quality products with keen eye for detail, both technically and visually; be confident in sharing ideas, have an interest in rethinking existing solutions; and thrive on collaborating in a dynamic team environment. The ideal applicant will: Have a strong understanding of modern full stack development practices, covering both backend services and frontend interfaces. Be proficient in JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Some Rust knowledge is ideal. Have experience building services using Node.js and frameworks such as Express or Fastify. Have experience building user interfaces with React or similar modern frontend frameworks, with a good eye for UI/UX and clean, maintainable code. Have experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and connecting them to frontend interfaces. Have experience building internal tools and products — dashboards, admin interfaces, or workflow automation — that directly support team operations. Be comfortable working with relational databases. Be experienced using source control systems such as Git and managing development workflows. (Beneficial) Have experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS and integrating with AWS Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.). We’re looking for someone equally at home in the backend and the browser — someone who takes pride in the products they ship, whether that’s a polished user-facing feature or a sophisticated internal tool that makes the team’s day a little smoother. Bonus points if you’ve dabbled in Rust. Apply today to be considered for this exciting opportunity! Join the A-Team and experience the A-Life! Apply To This Job
