The Role:

As a Technical Specialist – Datacom and Video Distribution, you'll play a critical role in supporting the arenaflex team in delivering top-notch solutions to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert-level technical support for datacom and video distribution systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test new solutions
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including user guides, technical notes, and best practices
  • Conducting site visits and on-site support to ensure seamless system operation and optimal performance
  • Participating in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert-level technical support for datacom and video distribution systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, technical notes, and best practices

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or telecommunications

  • 3+ years of experience in datacom and video distribution, with a focus on technical support and system administration
  • Strong knowledge of datacom and video distribution protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, and RTP
  • Experience with network management systems, such as SNMP and NetFlow
  • Familiarity with video distribution technologies, including H.264, H.265, and JPEG 2000
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or telecommunications

  • 5+ years of experience in datacom and video distribution, with a focus on technical support and system administration
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins and Docker
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
