Job Summary

arenaflex is seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team, responsible for the development and support of cloud-based data pipelines. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data architectures that drive business value and inform strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Product, and Engineering, to design and implement data pipelines that meet business requirements

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL (Snowflake and PostgreSQL), Python, and other relevant technologies
• Design and implement data warehouse and data mart architectures to support business intelligence and analytics
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through data validation, data profiling, and data governance
• Develop and maintain automated workflows and data pipelines using tools like Docker, GitLab, and Wind stream
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, collaborating with stakeholders to identify root causes and implement solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve data engineering processes and architectures

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
• Proficiency in Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data mart architectures
• Experience with source control systems, such as GitLab or GitHub
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies

• Proficiency in cloud design and product offerings, ideally AWS
• Experience managing and deploying code using a source control system
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks
• Strong understanding of data visualization and business intelligence tools
