Job Description:

  • Apply TEECOM’s workflows, tools, and BIM standards with a high level of independence.
  • Support modeling strategy, strengthen discipline execution, and own coordination and documentation quality across projects.
  • Contribute to project delivery through advanced modeling, drawing development, coordination leadership, documentation, and early engineering support.
  • Help maintain model health, guide coordination workflows, and reinforce TEECOM’s BIM and documentation standards.
  • Refine workflows, improve modeling standards, and support updates in GitHub based on lessons learned from project experience.

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent technical or field experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in the AEC industry with strong proficiency in Revit, coordinated modeling, and construction documentation across multiple projects, including exposure to coordination processes or field related activities.
  • Experience delivering technology system designs (Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi, and other technology disciplines) and supporting engineering tasks such as calculations, device layouts, and specification development.
  • Experience leading BIM coordination efforts, including clash detection, model review, and cross-discipline resolution.
  • Ability to maintain model health at a senior production level, including workset management, view template application, warning resolution, and model cleanup.
  • Ability to manage and maintain coordinated models, produce accurate drawings with minimal oversight, and resolve production issues independently.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage workloads across several projects, lead coordination efforts, and support engineers and project leads.
  • Solid technical understanding of technology systems and engineering principles; ability to perform calculations, conduct product research, and contribute to design development with limited guidance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
  • Industry certifications preferred but not required: EIT — plus, CDT — plus, CTS (AV) — plus, RCDD (Telecom) — plus, PSP/CPP (Security) — plus, PE — plus.
