Position Overview:

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional support and guidance throughout their journey. Your role will involve:

  • Answering incoming medical services contact center calls, offering assistance to our community seniors
  • Gathering and verifying patient data using standard computer software and systems
  • Utilizing critical thinking skills to identify patient needs, including potential emergency calls, and routing calls to the appropriate resource according to standard operating procedures
  • Reporting all call data according to supported working procedures
  • Employing effective communication techniques to elicit information, build trust, and provide reassurance to patients
  • Accurately identifying patient concerns and documenting according to convention
  • Meeting quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics, including reliability and participation

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare call center environment
  • Excellent listening, empathy, communication, and critical thinking skills, with a focus on first-call resolution and building value for the patient
  • Experience with Google Suite applications
  • Experience with data entry and call documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with clinical terminology
