Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to heavy metal fabrication and manufacturing, including MIG and stick welding, cutting, and assembling metal components. Key Responsibilities

* Perform MIG and stick welding of heavy metal components, including pipes, tubes, and structural steel

• Cut and assemble metal components using various techniques, including sawing, drilling, and grinding
• Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and accuracy
• Operate and maintain various welding equipment, including MIG and stick welders, saws, and grinders
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and meet deadlines
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the welding area and surrounding areas

Essential Qualifications

* At least 1 year of experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a heavy metal manufacturing environment

• Strong background in MIG and stick welding, including experience with various welding processes and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with other team members
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including metal components and equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other manufacturing software

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA regulations and guidelines
• Experience with quality control and inspection procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
