Job Summary

As a Call Taker (Customer Service Representative) at arenaflex, you will be responsible for answering, screening, and directing calls for our entire organization. You will work closely with our team to provide exceptional patient care and support to our community. Key Responsibilities

* Answer, screen, and direct calls for entire company

  • Distinguish the need for emergency transportation
  • Pre-arrange transport for facilities while determining the level of care needed for the patients
  • Arrange specialty and critical care transportation
  • Provide information and assistance for customer service inquiries as needed
  • Communicate with multiple departments and EMS personnel
  • Provide supportive information to customers to assist them in arranging appropriate transport
  • Develop effective solutions for customer service issues
  • Direct calls to Flight desk as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Pleasant, professional phone manner

  • Detail-oriented
  • Typing skills of 30 wpm or better
  • Ability to excel in high-stress environment
  • Adapt to frequently changing policies
  • Ability to learn policies and procedures for facilities and recognizing when to apply them
  • Medical background a plus
  • EMD certification will be required within 1 year of employment

Preferred Qualifications

* Medical background or experience in a related field

  • EMD certification
  • Experience working in a high-stress environment
  • Experience working in a customer service role
