HR Mango is seeking a Data Director with a strong consulting background to lead complex client engagements, drive data strategy, and oversee end-to-end delivery across multiple accounts for one of our consulting based clients. This role operates at a Senior Manager / Director level with clear ownership of projects, teams, and client relationships. Must be a US Citizen and Must live in one of the following states: AZ, AK, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, LA, NC, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, WI

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle data initiatives from strategy through execution, ensuring measurable business outcomes.
  • Manage multiple client engagements, acting as a trusted advisor and owning account relationships, delivery quality, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with clients to identify upsell opportunities, expand programs, and shape new data initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership leveraging Snowflake and Databricks in modern data platform implementations.
  • Track delivery progress, risks, and outcomes using structured project management practices.
  • Build, coach, and lead high-performing teams, including managing performance and professional development.

Required Experience

  • Background in mid-size or boutique consulting firms with a track record across multiple projects or clients.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end project leadership with clear ownership of delivery and results.
  • Direct client interaction, account management, and participation in account expansion or new business initiatives.
  • Recent (within 3 years) hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Proven people leadership experience with defined team management scope.
