Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our Southwest Airlines Remote Customer Service team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support via phone, email, and chat. Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Specialist on our Southwest Airlines Remote Customer Service team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing outstanding customer support by answering calls, emails, and chat messages
  • Helping customers with flight bookings, cancellations, inquiries about luggage, reservations, and general travel information

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience is highly desirable, but not mandatory
  • Experience in handling customer inquiries via phone, chat, or email is a plus
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment is beneficial but not required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a clear and friendly telephone demeanor
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve customer issues efficiently
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with common office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
