Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud applications that support our marketing efforts on Walmart.com and its subsidiaries. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Scrum groups, QA, Product, Program Management, and Partner Operations, to ensure seamless collaboration and effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop robust, adaptable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large volumes of data to support marketing efforts on Walmart.com and its subsidiaries

• Work on cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud for data storage, processing, and analysis
• Develop and deploy large-scale, containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on public clouds like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure
• Collaborate with other Scrum teams, QA, Product, Program Management, and Partner Operations to ensure effective project delivery and cross-functional collaboration
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to investigate production issues across cross-functional teams
• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud applications
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and scalability

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud application development, and ETL process management
• Strong understanding of data pipeline design, development, and maintenance
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, and Scala
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with distributed computing services like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of data storage systems like Hive and Hadoop
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud application development, and ETL process management
• Experience with big data technologies like Apache Kafka and Apache Storm
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
• Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
• Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices
