Summary

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Representative to join our remote team in the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development or sales, excellent communication and organizational skills with a proven ability to engage with C-level executives as evidenced by attainment. This role requires a self-starter with a hunter mentality who can multitask and maintain relationships with internal teams, customers, partners, and outside consultants.

Job Description

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of 3 - 5 years of software business development or sales experience with a track record of exceeding achievement. Expert Organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in engaging with C-level executives. Ambitious spirit with a bold hunter mentality. Proven business acumen demonstrated in a B2B environment. Ability to multitask and maintain relationships internally and externally. SaaS experience and/or P/C insurance is strongly preferred. Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth to achieve meeting and pipeline targets. Prospect to Identify and engage potential clients through various channels. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams. Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective clients. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Track and report on sales performance metrics. Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities. Travel is requried Compensation: Salary range: TBC Additional compensation includes a recommended commission amount and RSUs (Restricted Stock Units). The US base salary range for this full-time position is $76,000 - . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
