Remote Senior Litigation Attorney
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Litigation Attorney to join their thriving, fully remote legal practice. You will be responsible for managing complex litigation cases from inception through resolution, representing clients in various legal matters. This role demands exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of legal procedures, and the ability to draft persuasive arguments and negotiate effectively. As a remote team member, you will be expected to maintain a high level of productivity and seamless communication with colleagues and clients across different time zones. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on diverse case matters. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents with precision and clarity. Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, depositions, and interrogatories. Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations. Negotiate settlements and develop effective legal strategies. Provide expert legal counsel and strategic advice to clients. Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to ensure case progression. Maintain meticulous case files and ensure compliance with all procedural rules and deadlines. Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and legal precedents. Mentor junior attorneys and provide guidance on case strategy and professional development. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the State Bar of Wisconsin and in good standing. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in complex civil litigation. Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving significant litigation matters. Expertise in legal research and writing, with exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate and advocate in legal settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. Proficiency with legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software. Must possess a dedicated home office space with reliable high-speed internet access to ensure seamless remote work. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines in a remote setting. Strong ethical standards and professional integrity are paramount.
