Crown auto repair is actively seeking a knowledgeable and experienced individual to join our team as a Service Advisor, specializing in Tekmetric software. As a Service Advisor with expertise in Tekmetric, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing outstanding service while leveraging the Tekmetric platform to streamline operations. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of automotive service processes and proven experience using Tekmetric for scheduling and managing service requests.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs while utilizing Tekmetric software for a smooth workflow.
  • Provide informed and detailed explanations of service options, pricing, and timelines using Tekmetric data.
  • Efficiently manage service appointments, ensuring optimal scheduling through the Tekmetric system.
  • Create detailed estimates and work orders for customer review within Tekmetric.
  • Communicate throughout the service process with technicians, ensuring that all repairs align with customer expectations.
  • Keep customers updated on the status of their repairs, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service transactions through Tekmetric.
  • Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely ordering and delivery of necessary parts using Tekmetric.
  • Stay informed about Tekmetric updates and automotive industry best practices to optimize service delivery.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry is required.
  • Proficient in using Tekmetric software for service management.
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and customer service best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
