Overview

This position will support and maintain all demographic information for all of our regions and fields of service.

Responsibilities

Data entry of patient demographics/responsible party/insurance /facility/referring provider and any other information pertain to patient billing and general information. Responsible for contacting nursing home for new POA address if patient statements have been returned by mail and then changing address in EMR and remailing statement to new address. Documentation of this action must be recorded in EMR. Responsible for adding any new facilities into EMR master files in appropriate office key. Responsible for adding any new referring providers in EMR master files. Also, responsible for obtaining NPI for referring provider. Delivers excellent customer service to a wide variety of internal and external contacts. Works timely to ensure workload is completed in a timely manner. Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting suspected violations of law and Company policy. Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times. To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities. Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager. Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements: High school diploma or GED Minimum Qualifications: Strong Data entry and computer skills. Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize workload. Exhibit excellent customer service. Previous medical office background helpful We will only employ those individuals who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
