The University of Maine at Presque Isle is seeking a YourPace Admissions Specialist to join a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to providing proactive, student-centered support to adult undergraduate and graduate students in our competency-based education programs. This full-time, remote position plays a key role in guiding prospective students from inquiry to enrollment while supporting a seamless admissions experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and collaborating across departments to support student success. This is a fully remote position with work hours of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST, or as determined by the Vice President of Enrollment Services. Occasional travel to the University of Maine at Presque Isle may be required for training or university events. The university will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion depending on skills and experience. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred; candidates with an associate's degree combined with related experience in admissions, tutoring, counseling, customer service, or sales will be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Related sales or marketing experience preferred. Related admissions and recruitment experience preferred Candidates must have access to a stable and reliable internet connection with speeds of at least 25 Mbps; hotspots are not acceptable for this position. A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is also required to support confidential phone and Zoom conversations with students in accordance with university policy and FERPA regulations. The workspace must be able to accommodate a full workstation setup, including two monitors, docking stations, and other required equipment. Additionally, the selected candidate must complete an annual Remote Work Agreement Form as a condition of employment.
