We are currently seeking a IV&V (IQMS) Project Manager to join our team in Portland, Oregon (US-OR), United States (US). The IV&V Project Manager will provide Independent Quality Management Services for State of Oregon projects (note: in the State of Oregon, IV&V is known as independent Quality Management Services (iQMS)). She/he will actively participate in the delivery of IQMS tasks/activities and associated deliverables. The IV&V Project Manager will facilitate the development of IQMS deliverables and work products, including assessing weekly updates of the client Integrated Project Schedule and the client project. The IV&V Project Manager will participate in meetings, review project deliverables provided by the solution vendor and provide written feedback and recommendations on these deliverables to the agency decision-makers to help ensure project success. In addition, the IV&V Project Manager will prepare and deliver Monthly IQMS reports, assessing the quality of the underlying engagements. Duties include:

  • Facilitate the development of IQMS deliverables and work products including Risk Assessments, Quality Planning deliverables, Quality Control Reviews, and Periodic Status Reports.
  • Coordinate and perform Quality Control Reviews of solution vendor deliverables such as Project Management Plan and Schedule, Requirements Validation documents, Detailed System Design documents, Data Conversion Plans, Testing Plans and associated results, User Documentation, Training Plans, Implementation Strategies, Implementation and Rollout Plans, and Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Plans
  • Assess and make recommendations on the management and technical aspects of project implementations
  • Evaluate feasibility of project schedule
  • Prepare and present IQMS findings to various stakeholders including the state’s project management teams and executive steering committees
  • Evaluate feasibility of project schedule

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years work experience
  • Minimum 8 years of Project Management experience
  • Minimum 5 years IV&V/IQMS experience
  • Minimum 3 years MS Project experience
  • Minimum 8 years state and federal project experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • PMP certification

  • Strong writing skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excels at using quantitative data to drive recommendations and decisions
  • Knowledge of industry standards, especially PMBOK
  • Ability to apply industry best practices and future state/federal mandates to existing systems
  • Ability to work with limited supervision

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $100,400 - $142,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
