Business Development Representative
Thought Industries is disrupting the Customer Learning & Intelligence space with a platform designed to drive measurable outcomes for innovative companies. They are seeking a Business Development Representative who will focus on qualifying and scheduling inbound leads, driving prospects to events, and partnering with Account Executives to grow the client base.
Responsibilities
- Conduct timely follow up and qualification of inbound marketing leads and demo requests per our stated SLA’s
- Help drive attendance and prospect engagement for marketing-sponsored events and webinars
- Maintain standard activity levels related to outbound activities, meetings held and pipeline conversion to opportunities
- Manage and report on your sales activity in Thought Industries’ CRM system

- Highly motivated, resourceful, and comfortable with a passion for building, iterating, and winning
- Adhere to the highest ethical standards and conduct, honors commitments, and treats people with kindness, compassion, trust and respect
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2 years of previous B2B SaaS Sales Experience
- Strong business acumen
- Comfortable speaking to potential and current customers over the phone and video including demoing solutions through remote software
- Ability to identify and qualify sales leads based on qualification criteria
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate, motivated and hungry to succeed
- SalesForce, LinkedIn and Google Workspace Experience required
- Prior knowledge of the Learning Technology space is a plus
- Experience with Gong, Outreach, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar tools is a plus
