[Remote] Sales Development & Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Otto Optical Systems is a fast-growing SaaS company that provides an e-commerce and workflow platform for independent eyecare practices. They are seeking a Sales Development & Account Executive to manage the entire sales process, from outreach to closing deals, while also supporting marketing initiatives and representing the company at industry events.
Responsibilities
- Prospect eyecare practices through cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach
- Run discovery conversations to understand clinic needs and position Otto's value
- Deliver engaging product demos and manage deals from first contact through to close
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline using HubSpot and Monday
- Support marketing initiatives and contribute ideas on messaging and positioning
- Represent Otto at industry conferences and trade shows (often in great locations)
- Explore partnership and biz dev opportunities alongside the team
Skills
- You pick up new tools fast and figure things out on your own — you won't need step-by-step handholding
- You're energized by outbound: cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn don't scare you
- You communicate clearly and confidently, whether writing a cold email or running a live demo
- You're coachable and hungry — you want feedback and you apply it quickly
- You're comfortable with ambiguity and can prioritize without being told what to do next
- You're genuinely tech-savvy — you'll become an Otto product expert and enjoy doing it
- Have experience in SaaS, healthcare, or B2B sales
- Have a background in or connection to the eyecare industry
- Already use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to work smarter
