[Remote] Business Development Representative
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Waitwhile is on a mission to eliminate the time people spend waiting in lines by providing a platform that combines various services for a seamless experience. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for outbound prospecting, refining messaging, and generating qualified pipeline opportunities for Account Executives.
Responsibilities
- Prospect into target accounts through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels
- Research accounts and identify key decision makers
- Book qualified meetings and create pipeline opportunities for Account Executives
- Personalize outreach while maintaining strong activity levels
- Partner with Sales leadership to refine targeting, messaging, and outreach strategies
- Contribute ideas, insights, and feedback to improve performance
- Help establish best practices and scalable outbound processes
- Bring a builder mindset to experimentation and continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate account and prospect data in HubSpot
- Use tools such as Amplemarket, Trellus, and ZoomInfo to identify and engage prospects
- Stay organized across outreach, follow ups, and pipeline creation
- Continuously improve productivity and workflow efficiency
- Share customer insights and market feedback with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps
- Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handovers
- Surface objections, trends, and opportunities from prospect conversations
Skills
- 1 to 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or outbound prospecting
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your results
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment where processes are still evolving
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to learn through experimentation
- A proactive mindset and genuine interest in building something new
- Experience in an early stage startup or scaleup environment
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Amplemarket, Trellus, or ZoomInfo
- Experience prospecting into mid market or enterprise accounts
- Experience selling into industries such as retail, healthcare, travel, operations, or customer experience
- Experience helping shape messaging, cadences, or outbound processes
- Interest in sales development strategy and process optimization
