Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of climate data, trends, and projections, including historical data, climate models, and socio-economic impacts.
  • Evaluate climate risks and vulnerabilities for various sectors and geographies, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Develop and implement climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies and policy recommendations for clients.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and policy briefs for diverse audiences, translating complex scientific information into accessible insights.
  • Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams (e.g., policy, science, economics) and external stakeholders to deliver integrated climate solutions.
  • Monitor and interpret national and international climate policy developments, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of climate-related assessments, carbon footprint analyses, and sustainability reports.
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations to present findings and facilitate discussions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature, technological advancements, and methodological innovations in climate change analysis. Required Skills
  • Expertise in climate change science, policy, and economics
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS) and data visualization tools
  • Demonstrated experience with climate modeling data, GIS, and remote sensing platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to conduct independent research and deliver high-quality, impactful reports
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Environmental Policy, Sustainability, or a closely related field
  • Experience working with international climate frameworks (e.g., UNFCCC, IPCC assessments)
  • Knowledge of carbon accounting methodologies and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions reporting standards
  • Project management experience in environmental consulting or research settings
