Position Overview

The Senior Data Scientist role is a pivotal leadership position within arenaflex’s Omnichannel Analytics team. Reporting to the Head of Data Science, you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of data‑driven projects that influence product strategy, marketing spend, and customer experience across both online and physical channels. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Vision: Define and champion the data science roadmap for omnichannel analytics, aligning technical initiatives with arenaflex’s broader business objectives.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership: Partner with analysts, data engineers, product owners, and marketing strategists to design and execute data‑centric solutions that solve high‑impact business problems.
• Requirement Translation: Convert business needs into precise analytical specifications, ensuring that models and dashboards directly address stakeholder goals.
• Roadmap Development: Lead roadmap planning sessions, prioritize features based on ROI, and communicate progress to senior leadership.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience building predictive, statistical, or AI models that solve real‑world business challenges, preferably within a retail or consumer‑goods environment.
• Proven expertise in web analytics and customer segmentation, using data to enhance online experiences and drive conversion.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small, fast‑paced teams in delivering high‑quality analytical solutions on time.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a track record of translating ambiguous business problems into clear, data‑driven stories.
