Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Data Platform Design & Implementation: Architect, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion, storage, and serving layers on the arenaflex cloud platform (commonly referred to as “Sky blue cloud”).
• ETL Orchestration: Lead the design and execution of robust ETL pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), PySpark, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to ensure data is ingested, cleansed, transformed, and loaded efficiently.
• Data Security & Governance: Implement role‑based access controls, encryption, and masking strategies to protect sensitive data, complying with industry standards and internal policies.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Deploy monitoring solutions, set up alerts, and continuously tune pipelines for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance, career development, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with product owners, data scientists, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver data solutions that meet business objectives.

Essential Qualifications
