Role Overview – Remote SailPoint IAM Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled IAM professional who can lead the integration of SailPoint packages, develop custom workflows, and collaborate with cross‑functional software and platform teams. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy custom provisioning workflows, correlation rules, and access certification processes for Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) scenarios within IdentityIQ.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing support of IAM solutions in an enterprise environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain robust WebServices, REST API, and SCIM connectors to automate user onboarding, off‑boarding, and role management.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and business teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical controls.
• Drive continuous improvement of IAM processes by applying industry best practices, design patterns, and emerging technologies.
• Provide tier‑2 troubleshooting and incident response for IAM‑related outages, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business impact.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge through documentation, workshops, and code reviews.
• Participate in release management cycles, coordinating with DevOps and change‑control boards to deliver seamless updates.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IAM engineering, preferably with SailPoint IdentityIQ deployments.
• Strong understanding of identity governance concepts: RBAC, role mining, access certification, federation, and entitlement management.
• Hands‑on experience with Java, JavaScript, XML, DSML, Linux/Unix, Tomcat, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and SCIM connectors for automated provisioning.
