Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a highly motivated Remote Data Entry Engineer to join our Test Development team. This full‑time, work‑from‑home role focuses on supporting security testing initiatives, collaborating with external manufacturing partners, and ensuring the seamless operation of our testing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical abilities with hands‑on technical expertise, particularly in Python scripting, system diagnostics, and security processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and maintain security hardening procedures for partner‑manufactured devices, ensuring compliance with arenaflex standards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineers, product managers, and external contract manufacturers (North America) to drive test and security enhancements.
  • Lead cross‑functional investigations of security vulnerabilities, providing actionable recommendations and remediation plans.
  • Oversee operating system upgrades, network security configurations, remote access setups, and test station administration.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain Python‑based test scripts, translating test results into clear, actionable reports.
  • Perform low‑level driver analysis of system test failures, implementing corrective or preventive actions to improve reliability.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, security findings, and hardware configurations for internal and partner use.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to internal test development teams and external manufacturing partners, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting automation opportunities and process optimizations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in programming development, hardware troubleshooting, or test development.
  • Hands‑on experience with security lifecycle processes, server environments, or enterprise hardware.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, including script development, data parsing, and automation.
  • Familiarity with operating system concepts, driver analysis, and system diagnostics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with external partners, such as ODM, OEM, or JDM manufacturers.
