Role Overview: What You Will Own

As a Corporate Travel Sales & Account Management Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for our portfolio of TMC (Travel Management Company) accounts. This is an individual contributor role with significant visibility and influence. You will exercise substantial judgment in managing pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and partnership development — all with the goal of maximizing revenue, market share, and long-term profitability for arenaflex. You will collaborate cross-functionally with our legal, risk, marketing, revenue management, and loyalty teams to ensure every TMC relationship is positioned for sustained success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary subject matter expert and relationship owner for all TMC business within arenaflex's corporate travel division.
  • Build and nurture strategic business relationships with TMC accounts, identifying and capitalizing on corporate travel growth opportunities.
  • With minimal direction from leadership, exercise sound judgment to manage pricing, cost analysis, and contract negotiations — always aiming to secure the highest possible market share and yield within individual commercial markets.
  • Partner closely with legal and risk management teams to develop, review, and finalize contractually binding agreements that protect arenaflex's interests while supporting mutual growth.
  • Analyze revenue performance, discount structures, and contract execution to ensure goal compliance, profitability, and alignment with corporate sales targets.
  • Develop marketing-related promotions and sales initiatives in collaboration with the marketing and customer loyalty teams to drive demand and engagement.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of TMC corporate accounts — from prospecting and sales calls to contract negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Plan and execute regional sales strategies in alignment with corporate objectives, ensuring arenaflex is competitively positioned within each market.
  • Collaborate with the revenue management team to identify, document, and pursue incremental revenue opportunities outlined within partnership agreements.
  • Monitor reporting dashboards and key performance metrics to identify trends, anticipate market shifts, and develop proactive strategies to keep arenaflex ahead of the competition.
  • Track revenue, commissions, and contract performance to ensure maximum income and share goals are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Effectively manage time and resources to maximize revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rates for arenaflex.
  • Prepare and execute regional sales plans aligned with broader corporate sales targets, leveraging market intelligence and competitive insights to position arenaflex favorably against industry peers.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus on the retail services environment or a closely related industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., two additional years of relevant training or experience in lieu of a degree).
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the airline, travel, or hospitality industry.
  • Prior exposure to and working knowledge of travel industry data reporting tools such as Arc and Sabre (formerly known as Crystal in legacy systems).
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive results that serve the organization's best interests.
  • Proven ability to build cross-functional, collaborative relationships with diverse teams and workgroups across an organization.
