  • Statistical Analysis & Reporting: Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to uncover patterns, anomalies, and root‑cause insights. Translate findings into clear, actionable reports for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Process Auditing: Conduct audits of existing quality‑control processes, identify gaps, and recommend data‑backed enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Visualization & Communication: Build compelling visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx to convey complex data stories to stakeholders.
  • Ad‑hoc Problem Solving: Respond quickly to emerging operational issues, providing data‑driven recommendations that enable senior leadership to make informed decisions.

  • Strong foundation in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
  • Familiarity with data‑analysis tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present technical findings to non‑technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to data integrity.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications & Experiences

  • Previous internship, capstone project, or coursework involving large data sets, process improvement, or quality control.
  • Exposure to aviation or transportation industry data, though not required.
  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations for executive briefings.
  • Understanding of lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous‑improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
