As a Lead Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will serve as a pivotal member of our Business Operations team, collaborating with cross-functional partners across the organization to build robust reporting frameworks and data strategies. You will lead initiatives to consolidate data from multiple sources, develop meaningful metrics, and create dashboards that empower leadership to make informed strategic and financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Performance Reporting & Representation: Serve as the primary analytics partner for cross-functional teams to understand platform performance. When metrics exceed or fall behind expectations, dive deep to drive meaningful, actionable insights that help improve business performance or double down on successes.
• Reporting & Tooling Strategy: Lead the team in creating meaningful and consistent metrics and reporting standards across all streaming platforms. Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that scale with business growth.
• Business Intelligence Execution: Drive large-scale data reporting initiatives. Act as a subject matter expert for team members and collaborate with Data Engineering teams to design and build performant ETL pipelines, intermediate tables, and intuitive dashboards using tools like Tableau and Looker.
• Creation of a Single Source of Truth: Partner with our Governance team to unite analysts and stakeholders from across the organization in defining and standardizing metrics for measuring product performance.
• ETL & Metric Design: Own metric design and production by defining business requirements, architecture, development, and long-term data scalability.
• Collaboration & Communication: Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand their decision-making needs and work with various data teams to enhance platform capabilities around data modeling, testing platforms, data visualization, and data architecture.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide analysts in best practices, tooling development, and communication with internal and external partners.
• Strategic Analysis: Provide analytical support for special projects and initiatives that drive business value across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in developing data analysis and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Chartio, or similar platforms.
• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of analytical experience, preferably in analysis engineering or business intelligence roles.
• Database Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL with experience in SparkSQL, Hive, or similar big data query languages.
• Cloud Platforms: Significant experience with OLAP databases such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
• ETL Development: Experience building and maintaining scalable tables for reporting through ETL processes.
• Project Management: Strong project and asset management experience, including defining objectives, timelines, and coordinating work across multiple stakeholders teams.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python, R, or other statistical programming languages.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal presentation abilities and experience presenting to diverse audiences.
• Initiative: Demonstrated drive and passion for delivering exceptional products and results.
