About the role Job Purpose Working within the Software Engineering group supporting our Medical Imaging business, as Delivery Lead you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful, high quality and timely release of complex software, managing the end-to-end delivery process, unblocking teams and deploying Agile principles and project management best practices. Reporting to the Associate Director, Project & Program Management, you'll provide hands-on facilitation, driving high-performing sprint teams, optimizing workflows and ensuring projects meet agreed timelines, scope and budget. Ideally equipped with expertise in the Medical Imaging domain and exposure to developing AI-enabled SaaS solutions, you'll certainly possess experience of working in a similar, highly regulated Life Sciences environment. Acting as a 'servant leader', you'll drive continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement and proactive risk management whilst fostering effective collaboration across matrixed teams.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Team Leadership Drive Agile adoption and maturity across teams, applying Scrum, Kanban or scaled frameworks. Facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and enable self-managed, high-performing teams. Support Product Owners in backlog refinement and prioritization. Promote Agile values, principles, and continuous improvement culture. Project Management Define, plan, and manage medium-to-large scale projects with direct business impact. Maintain realistic project plans, manage scope, timelines, and budgets. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks. Manage change control processes to ensure all project modifications are properly evaluated, documented and approved in alignment with governance standards. Ensure quality reviews and compliance with agreed standards. Release and Deployment Lead planning, design, and execution of release packages, including risk assessment. Coordinate release scheduling and communication with stakeholders. Ensure rollback procedures and post-release reviews are conducted. Drive adoption of automation and best practices in release management. Organizational Capability & Continuous Improvement Identify and implement process improvements and capability enhancements. Conduct maturity assessments and prioritize improvement opportunities. Mentor teams and promote a learning and growth culture. Stakeholder and Relationship Management Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies. Act as a single point of contact for communication and decision-making. Collect feedback and manage issues, resolutions, and lessons learned. Measurement and Reporting Define and implement measurement frameworks for projects and operations. Specify metrics, data collection methods, and reporting formats. Provide accurate and timely progress updates to stakeholders. Consultancy and Business Skills Understand client requirements and deliver solutions that enhance effectiveness. Communicate industry trends and technology impacts to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with security, privacy, ethics, and accessibility standards. Financial Management Track and report IT and resource expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets, identify variances, and provide input for corrective actions. Functional/Technical Competencies Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership and servant-leadership mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strategic planning and process improvement expertise. Up-to-date knowledge of Agile practices, tools and trends in the life sciences domain. Self-starter with adaptability and resilience. Experience, Education and Certifications Proven experience in a similar role focusing on project delivery and deployment of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). Experience in the Life Sciences sector, ideally with exposure to the Medical Imaging domain Experience in cloud deployment of enterprise solutions and of developing AI-powered software. Strong understanding of project management frameworks (Agile, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma, etc.). Demonstrated success in driving Agile maturity and innovation. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Maths, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.) or equivalent experience. Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.) desirable.
