Senior Accounting Manager – Fully Remote | CPA Required
LHH is partnering with a mid-size company to identify a Senior Accounting Manager. This is a fully remote role with minimal travel (1–2 times per quarter). The position offers the opportunity to work closely with a strong leader at a company that prioritizes employee well-being and work-life balance. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely financial reporting and provide insight into key trends and variances
- Apply GAAP guidance to complex accounting areas, including revenue recognition, leases, and equity-related transactions
- Partner with external auditors and support audit processes, ensuring strong internal control compliance
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency
- Develop and maintain a scalable internal control environment to reduce risk and safeguard company assets
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a high-performing and growth-oriented culture
- Support special projects and other business initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Active CPA license
- Prior accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership or managerial experience
- 7–15 years of total accounting experience
