Solar Engineer
Solar Engineer We are seeking a highly experienced Solar Electrical Engineer to support the design and execution of utility-scale and commercial photovoltaic (PV) systems. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of full project design, contribute to technical decision-making, and support projects from concept through construction. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design for utility-scale and commercial solar PV projects (MW scale)
- Develop complete construction document packages, including drawings and specifications
- Perform detailed system modeling and analysis using PVSyst and ETAP
- Design medium voltage (MV) systems and support electrical distribution design
- Prepare single-line diagrams and coordinate with utilities
- Conduct site investigations and support construction administration activities
- Collaborate with internal teams and participate in client-facing discussions
- Mentor junior engineers and support design quality across projects
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE required)
- 5+ years of commercial or utility-scale solar experience (MW-scale projects required)
- Strong experience with: ETAP, PVSyst, AutoCAD
- Proven ability to produce high-quality construction documents
- Experience with medium voltage systems and power distribution design
