Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to become a cornerstone of our Customer Experience (CX) analytics team. In this remote role, you will act as the data authority for a high‑impact CX initiative, translating complex data sets into clear, strategic recommendations that drive business decisions, improve customer sentiment, and justify investment in experience‑enhancing programs. You will partner with cross‑functional stakeholders—including product managers, UX designers, engineers, and senior leadership—to build robust reporting frameworks, develop advanced dashboards, and help architect the next generation of arenaxflex’s CX data platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Expertise & Domain Mastery: Become the go‑to authority on all data sources related to the assigned CX initiative, understanding where data resides, how it can be joined, and how it tells a compelling story.
  • Reporting Standards & Architecture: Establish and enforce reporting standards, design a scalable reporting framework, and ensure consistency across all CX dashboards and analytical outputs.
  • Advanced SQL & Dashboard Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries that power real‑time dashboards; create intuitive visualizations using Tableau (or comparable tools) that surface key performance indicators for senior leadership.
  • Data Platform Design: Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement a modern CX data platform, including data modeling, ETL pipelines, and documentation that enable business users to self‑serve insights.
  • Continuous Discovery & Exploration: Conduct ongoing data discovery, hypothesis testing, and exploratory analysis to uncover hidden opportunities for improving the customer journey.
  • Impact Measurement & Benefit Tracking: Develop methodologies to quantify the impact of CX initiatives, stitching together multiple data sources to track ROI, sentiment shifts, and competitive positioning.
  • Ad‑Hoc Analytics & Stakeholder Support: Respond to urgent analytical requests, provide deep‑dive analyses, and translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Lead data cleansing, validation, and governance activities to ensure the reliability and accuracy of all CX data assets.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with developers, UX designers, and end‑users to gather requirements; mentor junior analysts on best practices, emerging tools, and analytical techniques.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in data analysis, with at least 4–6 years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced SQL, including complex joins, window functions, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, with a portfolio of production‑grade dashboards.
  • Strong track record of translating raw data into strategic business recommendations that influence product or service roadmaps.
  • Experience designing or contributing to enterprise‑scale data platforms, data warehouses, or data lakes.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Highly analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for uncovering insights that drive customer delight.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience specifically in customer experience analytics, sentiment analysis, or related domains.
  • Background in data management, process analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with statistical programming languages such as R or Python for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and modern ETL tools.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem solving and stakeholder engagement.
