Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Analyst in IT CTS at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our crewmembers and ensuring seamless technology operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Support for Hardware and Applications: Providing comprehensive support for all arenaflex equipment and applications, including communication devices, cell phones, desktop systems, and enterprise software solutions.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Delivering outstanding on-site and remote customer service to all arenaflex crewmembers, ensuring a positive support experience with every interaction.
  • Incident and Request Management: Coordinating the resolution of incidents and service requests from initiation through completion, collaborating with both internal teams and external resources as needed.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Proactively monitoring and supporting various IT systems to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • User Access Administration: Maintaining and managing user access permissions, ensuring security protocols are followed across the organization.
  • Software Deployment and Support: Working with software package rollouts, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance support.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with all Information Technology disciplines within arenaflex to deliver integrated solutions and share knowledge.
  • First-Contact Resolution: Striving to achieve first-contact resolution for all issues whenever possible, minimizing escalations and improving crewmember satisfaction.
  • Documentation Management: Maintaining thorough documentation of all service requests in accordance with arenaflex standards, and regularly updating knowledge base articles with the most current and relevant information.
  • Major Incident Coordination: Leading the response coordination for significant incidents and outages, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
  • Additional Duties: Performing other responsibilities as assigned by leadership to support the broader goals of the IT department at arenaflex.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate is required. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Foundation: Experience supporting the latest operating systems, or successful completion of the "IT for Everyone" certification via Coursera or an equivalent recognized program.
  • Application Support Experience: Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting enterprise applications in a professional environment.
  • Travel Flexibility: Availability for occasional overnight travel (up to 50% of the time) to support arenaflex operations across multiple sites.
  • Valid Travel Documentation: Possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel freely between Jamaica and the United States as needed for business purposes.
  • US Visa Eligibility: Must be able to obtain a valid visa to travel to the United States for work-related assignments.
  • Desktop Deployment Experience: Hands-on experience using desktop deployment packages and endpoint management tools.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

Candidates who bring the following additional qualifications will be given strong consideration:

  • Industry Certifications: Current certifications from recognized technology providers such as Microsoft, networking credentials (CompTIA, Cisco), or programming language certifications.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server products, including Windows operating systems and server administration.
  • Productivity Suite Expertise: Proficiency with Microsoft Exchange and the full Office Suite, including advanced features and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Networking Fundamentals: Knowledge of LAN environments utilizing TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS protocols and services.
  • Telecommunications Knowledge: Understanding of communication, messaging, and infrastructure systems, including Voice over IP (VOIP) and traditional POTS telephony.
  • Mobile Device Management: Experience with mobile devices and familiarity with MDM solutions such as Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune.
  • Audio-Visual Systems: Knowledge of audiovisual solutions, including conference room technology, digital signage, and presentation systems.
