Full benefits overview at dyopath.com/careers Role Overview Location: Remote (US) Schedule: 1st Shift (9a to 5p); Monday through Friday Pay Rate: $75,000 (annual) As a SNOC Engineer II, you will play a critical role in detecting and responding to security threats, troubleshooting complex network and system issues, and performing root cause analysis to prevent future incidents. The SNOC Engineer II (Security) works across security, network, systems, and cloud domains to ensure operational stability and compliance. Your Mission as a SNOC Engineer II Detect and respond to security threats across network, systems, and cloud environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent future incidents. Act as an escalation point for unresolved alerts/issues. Mentor SNOC Engineer I team members and assist with technical development. Create and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base documentation. Collaborate on projects to integrate new technologies and improve reliability. Support compliance initiatives (CMMC, SOC 2, ISO 27001). Security Operations Responsibilities Investigates and responds to complex security alerts (lateral movement, privilege misuse). Performs root cause analysis and recommends remediation actions. Maintains and tunes SIEM and EDR detections to improve accuracy. Supports proactive security initiatives (threat hunting, detection engineering). Mentors Engineer I in effective triage and investigative techniques. Collaborates with clients and internal teams on remediation plans. What You Bring to the Team Education & Certifications Associate’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Network+ Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate ITIL Foundations Experience & Skills 2+ years in SOC, NOC, IT support, or infrastructure operations. Ability to combine cybersecurity expertise with exceptional customer‑centric communication and engagement. Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills across security, network, systems, and cloud domains. Familiarity with SIEM platforms, monitoring tools, and alert management systems. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
