About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical, business-oriented, and technically strong Senior Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across a fast-growing e-commerce subscription business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of analytics, experimentation, business strategy, and data storytelling. The ideal candidate has strong experience within e-commerce environments, particularly subscription-based business models, and is comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Merchandising, and Engineering teams. You will play a key role in shaping growth, retention, acquisition, personalization, and customer experience strategies by leveraging advanced analytics, experimentation, forecasting, and automation. This is a high-impact role where your insights will directly influence business performance and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Business Intelligence Build and maintain: Dashboards Reports Ad hoc analyses Use tools such as: Tableau Snowflake SQL Python Deliver actionable insights to support business growth and customer experience optimization Analyze customer behavior, subscription performance, retention trends, and acquisition funnels Monitor and improve key e-commerce and subscription-related KPIs Advanced Analytics & Experimentation Lead: Hypothesis testing A/B testing Regression analysis Forecasting initiatives Support personalization, retention, and growth strategies through advanced statistical analysis Identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers through data exploration Translate analytical findings into business recommendations Data Automation & Quality Monitoring Develop and maintain SQL/Python-based workflows and automation tools Support real-time data quality monitoring and process optimization Work with tools such as: Airflow dbt Snowflake Help improve reporting efficiency, data integrity, and analytics scalability Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with: Marketing Product Merchandising Engineering teams Translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions Support strategic initiatives through data modeling and reporting Present insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Data Storytelling & Strategic Insights Convert complex datasets into clear, compelling business narratives Create executive-level reports and presentations Help leadership teams understand trends, risks, opportunities, and customer behavior patterns Support data-informed decision-making across the organization
Requirements
