Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous, technically‑savvy Data Entry & ETL Engineer to join our Remote Operations Hub. This full‑time role offers both day and night shift options, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to arenaflex’s massive data ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store petabytes of information used to power advertising, analytics, and partner services across the arenaflex platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, fault‑tolerant data pipelines that support high‑volume ingestion, transformation, and storage of structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product, QA, program managers, and partner operations—to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability for downstream analytics and advertising services.
• Implement and optimize ETL workflows using industry‑standard tools such as Apache Airflow, ensuring timely data delivery and minimal latency.
• Work with cloud platforms (arenaflex Cloud) to provision storage, compute, and networking resources that meet performance and cost‑efficiency targets.
• Develop and containerize micro‑services with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes, deploying to production environments on arenaflex Cloud.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline incidents, participating in on‑call rotations for rapid incident response.
• Write and maintain comprehensive documentation, data dictionaries, and operational runbooks to support knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Contribute to data model design, schema evolution, and capacity planning to support future growth and scalability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies—daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives—to align with team goals and deliver incremental value.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices around data engineering, cloud native development, and DevOps automation.

Essential Qualifications

• Data Engineering Foundations: Proven experience designing and operating data pipelines, data sets, and ETL processes in a production environment.
