Customer Service Representative (Insurance)
Avalon Risk Management is a specialty insurance broker focused on risk management and insurance products for the international trade and logistics industry. They are seeking a reliable customer service professional to support Account Managers and assist in servicing existing clients, while also providing excellent customer support and handling administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Support our Account Managers and assist in servicing our existing clients
- Assist with bond-related administrative activities, shipment-specific insurance quotations, certificate of insurance issuance, and policy servicing/submissions/changes
- Process account changes, assist with premium collections, fielding phone calls, client communications, and more
- Learn our customer portals (EPIC, Indio) and provide excellent customer support
- Handle the administrative support of the region and data organization as needed
Skills
- Professional customer service experience (preferably in Insurance or logistics)
- Ability to support Account Managers and assist in servicing existing clients
- Experience with bond-related administrative activities, shipment-specific insurance quotations, certificate of insurance issuance, and policy servicing/submissions/changes
- Ability to process account changes, assist with premium collections, field phone calls, and client communications
- Willingness to learn customer portals (EPIC, Indio) and provide excellent customer support
- Ability to handle administrative support of the region and data organization as needed
- Must attain Massachusetts Property and Casualty license within 120 days of hire
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and close attention to detail
