Our mission is to empower talent, foster creativity, and build tools that enable teams to work smarter, faster, and more collaboratively. Based in Honduras, our regional hub serves as a strategic center for data‑driven operations, content management, and process improvement across multiple development studios.

Why This Role Matters

In today’s fast‑paced gaming industry, data accuracy and workflow efficiency are the hidden engines that power successful releases. As an Entry‑Level Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be at the heart of this engine, ensuring that critical information flows seamlessly between art, design, engineering, and production teams. Your work will directly influence the quality of our games, the speed of our development cycles, and the satisfaction of our global player community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, document, and resolve workflow inefficiencies across multiple disciplines, including art, design, engineering, and production.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, evaluate trade‑offs, and implement data‑centric solutions that improve overall project velocity.
  • Maintain, extend, and support arenaflex’s existing suite of proprietary tools, pipelines, and custom gear used for asset management and content integration.
  • Design, build, and maintain custom asset pipelines that streamline the ingestion, validation, and distribution of game assets.
  • Contribute to the growth of arenaflex’s internal libraries, tools, and technologies, ensuring they remain scalable and adaptable to new game engines and platforms.
  • Provide day‑to‑day assistance to development teams by troubleshooting data‑related issues, recommending process improvements, and tracking the impact of implemented changes.
  • Participate in regular retrospectives and continuous‑improvement workshops to share insights, capture lessons learned, and promote best practices across the organization.
  • Document standard operating procedures, create training materials, and mentor junior team members on effective data handling and workflow optimization techniques.

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong passion for empowering others to achieve their best work, with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Demonstrated interest in the full lifecycle of software and content tools—from identifying issues, evaluating solutions, implementing tools, to measuring their effectiveness.
  • Experience working with custom, standalone tools and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as C#, C++, and Python—or a demonstrated ability to acquire these skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a self‑directed environment while maintaining strong communication with distributed teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus given the Honduras location.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with custom game engines or proprietary toolchains.
  • Familiarity with industry‑standard engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
  • Knowledge of web technologies, including JavaScript and networking fundamentals.
  • Previous experience in a data‑entry or quality‑assurance role within a gaming or software development environment.
  • Academic background in Computer Science, Game Development, Information Systems, or a related field.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex processes, spot bottlenecks, and propose data‑driven improvements.
  • Technical Acumen: Comfort with scripting, debugging, and interacting with development tools and APIs.
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills, capable of building relationships with artists, designers, engineers, and producers.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in data entry, validation, and documentation to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to thrive in a fast‑changing environment where priorities shift based on project needs.
  • Problem‑Solving: Resourcefulness in troubleshooting issues and delivering practical, sustainable solutions.
