This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in major expansion initiatives across one of the fastest-growing regions globally.The role reports directly to the APAC Head of Real Estate. While the initial focus will be on supporting real estate transactions and development activity in Tokyo and Osaka, the position will progressively expand to support the broader Asia Pacific- portfolio.This role requires excellent written and verbal English communication skills, as you will work extensively with regional and global stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesTransaction & Project SupportManage real estate transaction activity from opportunity identification through execution and post completion- processesSupport project leads by tracking market intelligence, assessing opportunities, and providing analytical insights to guide transaction strategiesPrepare investment papers and supporting documents for internal investment committee submissionsFinancial Analysis & ReportingDevelop financial reports and analytical summaries for development and expansion projectsSupport portfolio-wide planning and Real Estate Capex forecasting Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Corporate Development, Design, Construction, Utilities, Treasury, Legal, Finance, and other teams to ensure seamless coordination of real estate transactionsAssist in preparing and coordinating contract documentation to support an efficient end-to-end deal processBusiness Case & Presentation MaterialsPrepare materials for business cases, including financial summaries, cashflows, and strategic rationale for proposed investmentsDevelop high-quality presentation materials for senior leadership, project reviews, and cross-functional forumsLanguage & Communication RequirementsStrong English communication skills are essential, particularly for cross-regional collaboration and reportingQualificationsMinimum 3-5 years' professional experience, ideally gained within a national brokerage, investment bank, consulting firm, or investment organisationStrong analytical capability with excellent accuracy, critical thinking, and exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and compelling presentation materialsStrong team orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple markets and functionsEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
