Role Overview

As a Senior Voice‑of‑Customer Data Entry Analyst you will be the backbone of arenaflex’s VoC program, responsible for ingesting, validating, and transforming massive volumes of survey data into actionable insights. Working primarily through live chat and remote tools, you will partner with product owners, data engineers, and agile delivery teams to ensure that every piece of customer feedback is captured accurately, stored securely, and made ready for advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Ingestion & Validation: Collect, clean, and validate raw survey responses from over 20 countries and 10 languages, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Collaboration with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with arenaflex’s product and utility teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for data pipelines.
  • Data Modeling & Architecture: Design and maintain robust data models within the arenaflex data platform, supporting both batch and real‑time analytics.
  • Big Data Processing: Leverage Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to build scalable processing jobs that handle high‑volume VoC data streams.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, implement performance tuning, and automate routine data quality checks to improve overall system efficiency.
  • Automation & Tooling: Develop and maintain automation scripts (Shell, Python, PySpark) that streamline data ingestion, transformation, and reporting workflows.
  • Agile Delivery: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives, delivering incremental improvements to the VoC platform on a regular cadence.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce clear documentation of data pipelines, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures for cross‑team consumption.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing, including unit, integration, and user‑acceptance testing, to guarantee data accuracy before release.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest enhancements to data collection methods, storage strategies, and analytical capabilities to keep arenaflex at the forefront of customer insight.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, HDFS, MapReduce) and Spark/PySpark.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and shell scripting for data manipulation and automation.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing data models for large‑scale analytics platforms.
  • Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, delivering incremental value in two‑week sprints.
  • Excellent analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for data quality.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with global stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration with distributed teams.
