Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Mechanical Services: Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on soft‑drink fountain and vending machines in accordance with arenaflex’s standard operating procedures.
  • Diagnose Equipment Issues: Identify root causes of equipment malfunctions, including refrigeration failures, pump blockages, and sensor errors, and document findings accurately.
  • Maintain Refrigeration Systems: Ensure all cooling components are operating within optimal temperature ranges, performing preventive checks and calibrations as needed.
  • Execute Preventive Maintenance: Follow a scheduled maintenance plan that includes cleaning, part replacement, software updates, and safety inspections to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with Clients: Communicate clearly with on‑site personnel, providing guidance on equipment usage, best practices, and quick‑fix solutions.
  • Log Service Activities: Use arenaflex’s digital service platform to record work orders, parts used, time spent, and outcomes for each service call.
  • Support Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Offer flexible availability, including Saturdays, Sundays, and occasional holidays, to meet client service level agreements.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) – minimum requirement.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, enabling travel to client sites within the Tampa, FL region and surrounding areas.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in repairing beverage dispensing equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical clients.
  • Flexibility to work part‑time hours (approximately 8 hours per week) and adjust schedule for weekend or holiday assignments.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in mechanical engineering, HVAC, refrigeration technology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience servicing vending machines, soda fountains, or similar beverage equipment.
