Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be a vital bridge between arenaflex’s digital platforms and its customers, ensuring that every interaction is efficient, secure, and delightful. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

  • Develop Proof‑of‑Concept (PoC) and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) initiatives to validate new architectures and service enhancements.
  • Write, review, and maintain high‑quality code across front‑end and back‑end systems, contributing to both new feature development and legacy improvements.
  • Analyze customer requirements to translate them into scalable software designs and performance specifications.
  • Debug existing applications, identify root causes, and implement robust fixes that improve reliability.
  • Provide guidance on documentation standards and software development process improvements to ensure consistency across teams.
  • Design and implement new software components or modify existing ones to introduce innovative functionalities.
  • Develop, test, and deploy software packages using Agile methodologies, ensuring rapid delivery and continuous feedback.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain web applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on scalability and fault tolerance.
  • Implement scalable, fault‑tolerant architectures on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront.
  • Collaborate with the development team to optimize all applications for performance, cost‑efficiency, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, providing timely support to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Partner with cross‑functional groups to continuously improve the overall architecture and design of arenaflex’s digital services.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in AWS, cloud‑native development, and modern web technologies, sharing insights with the team.

Essential Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following core qualifications:

  • Strong experience with web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (e.g., Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Django).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront.
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, micro‑services architecture, and cloud‑first infrastructure design.
  • Experience working with relational databases and SQL, as well as familiarity with Linux/Unix operating environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a track record of diagnosing complex technical issues.
