As Misfits we support our customers and mission by embracing our core values of Prioritizing our Customers Doing more with less Thinking Differently Respecting one another Moving deliberately and quickly Taking initiative and delivering About the Role: The Inbound Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the weekly deliveries of all produce, cpg, and packaging to Misfits Market facilities to ensure that we are able to provide to our customers the items they ordered. This role works closely with the FC receiving teams to coordinate appointments and help ensure there is a steady flow of product coming in to maximize labor efficiency and ensure safe and efficient product flow. This role will be responsible for hitting various KPIs, including reliable on time delivery week after week. In the event of QC or Quality issues, this role will work closely with the FC and internal teams to prepare detailed claims documentation and work cross functionally to ensure claims are approved and paid by our carriers in a timely manner. Additionally, this role will play an integral role in aiding in the expansion of our 3PL business vertical, allowing us to be a fulfillment partner to outside companies who look to leverage our operational and reporting capabilities to improve their supply chain operations and customer service. You will be responsible for helping build business processes and managing the inbound supply chain to allow for future expansion of this critical business venture for the company. Responsibilities: Assist with weekly scheduling of inbound trucks leaving and injecting around various points around the country to make our delivery SLAs Work closely with our carrier and 3PL partners to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. Driving performance through holding partners accountable by using data and KPIs to show areas needing improvement Monitor and report out key performance indicators such as on time delivery, claim statuses, financial performance, etc on a weekly and monthly basis. Work with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of our deliveries from vendors to our facilities. Work closely with our cross docking partners to build density and utilization before departing for long hauls to our facilities. FTL/LTL coordination depending on freight requirements. Work with our operations teams to help support our growing 3PL business and ensure KPIs are hit and tracked Assist in managing the weekly/monthly expenses and work with AP to correct any discrepancies Skills & Qualifications: 2-3 years of professional experience (preferably in Logistics/Operations) Proficiency in Excel & comfort with data Excellent communication skills Familiarity with supply chain processes Problem solving, analytical and multitasking skills A team player attitude Details of Position & Benefits: Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Annual Misfits grocery box credit of $1200 paid in weekly installments Life insurance Paid vacation time Paid holidays Paid sick days Commuter benefits Please see here for Misfits Market's Job Applicant Privacy Notice.
