At arenaflex, we believe that great stories are built on great people, and we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives drive creativity, innovation, and impact.

Why This Role Matters

The Technical Operations Coordinator (also known as the Specialized Activities Facilitator) is a critical hub in arenaflex’s product services ecosystem. This role ensures that the flow of data, equipment, and services between design, external vendors, and internal teams such as Business Operations, Legal, and Procurement runs smoothly and efficiently. As a remote, flexible position, it offers college students and recent graduates the chance to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment while contributing directly to the delivery of beloved arenaflex brands and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal design and product teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specifications.
  • Research, evaluate, and source vendor quotations for hardware, software, and services needed for product development and launch.
  • Process purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of equipment and services to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and monitor product budgets, expense reports, and cost‑control initiatives.
  • Keep meticulous records of all product purchases, vendor contracts, and related documentation.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with key vendors; act as the primary point of contact for onboarding and ongoing collaboration.
  • Verify receipt of equipment at designated locations, manage inventory levels, and coordinate Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes.
  • Support multi‑dimensional data collection for on‑premise hardware and service planning, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps.
  • Apply advanced technical expertise to provide non‑routine support for server‑farm and PC‑related tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain access controls, data integrity, and security policies for the server‑farm environment.
  • Monitor system performance metrics, generate reports, and recommend hardware or software upgrades to improve efficiency.
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences, crafting concise briefs and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Participate in data‑analytics and infrastructure projects, contributing insights that shape future technology strategies.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) required; majors in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related fields are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1‑2 years of experience working with remote and global teams, preferably in a technical operations or procurement environment.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and drive projects to successful completion, with a focus on detail‑orientation and deadline adherence.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; capable of producing clear, concise documents, reports, and executive presentations.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong logical and quantitative skills; comfortable analyzing data, interpreting trends, and making data‑driven recommendations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with server‑farm environments, hardware lifecycle management, and basic networking concepts.
  • Collaboration: Proven track record of thriving in cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration with on‑premise infrastructure.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM) or Supply Chain (CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data‑visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high levels of accountability and productivity.
