EMS Management & Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Deployment Specialist I to manage standard client deployments across various Lines of Business. The role involves leading deployment projects, coordinating client activities, and ensuring successful go-live execution while proactively managing risks and communication with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end standardized deployment project plans, ensuring successful execution from initiation through go-live
  • Develop, maintain, and actively manage detailed deployment timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track and aligned with client expectations
  • Coordinate client deployment activities, including scheduling, data collection, system configuration requirements, and documentation management to ensure readiness and successful implementation
  • Monitor project progress by tracking assigned tasks, milestones, and dependencies; provide proactive status updates and strategic insights to internal stakeholders, clients, and Deployment Leadership
  • Identify project risks, gaps, or potential delays; evaluate impact and exercise independent judgment in recommending and escalating appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Ensure accurate system setup and configuration based on client requirements; validate completeness and integrity of required client information prior to implementation
  • Coordinate client education and training logistics to support successful system adoption and operational readiness
  • Maintain comprehensive and audit-ready deployment documentation, records, and implementation artifacts in accordance with organizational standards
  • Participate in and contribute to cross-functional collaboration efforts, providing project-level insights and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability managing structured project plans and implementation activities, exercising sound judgment within established frameworks and organizational standards
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to independently prioritize competing deadlines, manage multiple concurrent projects, and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional tasks and deliverables, ensuring alignment with defined processes while applying discretion to address variances or project complexities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project expectations, risks, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools, with the ability to analyze project data, track milestones, and generate meaningful status reporting to support informed decision-making
  • Ability to identify potential issues, assess impact, and recommend appropriate solutions or escalation pathways in support of project objectives
  • Proficiency in English is necessary for job-related communication, including understanding policies, writing correspondence, and engaging with colleagues or clients
  • Exposure to EMS, healthcare, or client implementation environments preferred
