Position Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Coordinator with arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of one of the most recognized names in commercial aviation. Working from your home office in Brownsville, USA, you will be the friendly, knowledgeable, and professional voice that travelers rely on for accurate information, efficient service, and compassionate assistance. Your primary responsibility will be to interact with customers in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner while promoting services, assisting with reservations, and ensuring that every passenger interaction reflects positively on our partner brand.

This is a remote position that requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, a dedicated home workspace, and reliable internet connectivity. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction and Support: Engage with the traveling public and freight forwarders in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing accurate information about flights, services, and policies.
  • Sales and Promotion: Proactively promote and sell air travel options, upgrades, and ancillary services to customers, contributing to revenue goals while helping travelers find the best options for their needs.
  • Check-In and Boarding Assistance: Provide remote support for passenger check-in processes, document verification, and load acceptance procedures, ensuring a seamless pre-flight experience.
  • Policy Interpretation: Accurately interpret and apply governmental and company guidelines for both domestic and international travel or shipment requirements, maintaining compliance at all times.
  • Operational Coordination: Assist with aircraft dispatch and meet-and-greet operations within established setup times, coordinating with team members to keep flights on schedule.
  • Passenger Assistance: Provide compassionate support to troubled, delayed, or displaced passengers, helping rebook travel, arrange accommodations, and de-escalate stressful situations.
  • Asset and Revenue Protection: Safeguard company assets and revenue by following security protocols, identifying potential risks, and reporting irregularities.
  • Safety and Security Compliance: Adhere to all internal and external regulations, including responding appropriately during security and emergency situations.
  • Multitasking in Time-Sensitive Environments: Use strong organizational skills to manage multiple duties within tight timeframes while maintaining accuracy and composure.

Essential Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred, ideally in aviation, hospitality, travel, or a related fast-paced industry.
  • Bilingual language skills are required for some locations and are highly valued across the organization.

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly phone presence.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think on your feet.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfort with technology, including reservation systems, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, and standard office software.
  • Physical capability to perform job-related duties, including the ability to remain seated and focused for extended periods while working remotely.

Additional Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license as required by local authorities.
  • Must be able to satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges, if required.
  • Availability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
  • A dedicated, quiet home workspace with reliable high-speed internet connectivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a remote customer service capacity.
  • Familiarity with airline reservation systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, or similar platforms.
  • Experience handling high-volume customer interactions via phone, email, and chat.
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, given the Brownsville location's proximity to the U.S.-Mexico border.
  • Demonstrated leadership or team coordination experience.
