Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a DevOps and Release Engineering Manager to join our client to help drive reliable and scalable software delivery across enterprise platforms. This role blends leadership and hands on technical work to strengthen deployment practices, improve release quality, and modernize tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead DevOps and release engineering practices, guiding a team while remaining actively involved in technical delivery and platform improvements
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI and CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps to improve deployment speed and reliability
  • Oversee release governance, planning, and approvals including CAB coordination, compliance readiness, and audit support
  • Drive modernization efforts across tooling and environments, including migration from legacy deployment tools and support for cloud and on premises systems
  • Establish performance metrics such as deployment frequency, failure rates, and recovery times to improve quality, visibility, and continuous improvement

Skills

  • Five to eight years of professional experience in DevOps, release engineering, or related areas with a strong foundation in CI and CD ownership
  • Three to five years of leadership experience with demonstrated ability to mentor teams and manage technical direction
  • Hands on experience supporting Salesforce delivery processes and release tools including Copado or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of release governance, compliance practices, and collaboration with cross functional stakeholders
  • A degree in a related field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience and technical expertise are equally valued
