Join arenaflex and Make a Lasting Impact

Are you ready to be part of something truly meaningful? At arenaflex, we don't just sell technology—we empower the men and women who protect and serve our nation. For decades, arenaflex has stood alongside U.S. Federal government agencies, delivering innovative solutions that support critical mission requirements ranging from national security and defense to civilian services and healthcare. As a Customer Success Program Manager in our Federal Sales Operations division, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and the extraordinary professionals who rely on it every day to fulfill their vital missions.

Our Federal Sales Operations team serves as the backbone of customer excellence, ensuring that complex government programs are executed flawlessly from conception through completion. We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded professional who thrives in dynamic environments, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for our nation's most important institutions.

What You'll Achieve at arenaflex

As a Customer Success Program Manager, you will become an indispensable partner to both our Federal customers and internal sales teams. Your expertise will directly enable government agencies to maximize their return on IT investments, drive operational efficiencies, and reduce overall costs—all while ensuring compliance with stringent Federal regulations and security requirements.

You will craft and maintain comprehensive customer program plans that span the entire program lifecycle, building enduring relationships that position arenaflex as a trusted advisor rather than merely a vendor. Your work will directly contribute to the success of initiatives that have real-world consequences for national security, public health, economic stability, and the wellbeing of American citizens. This is not just a job—it is an opportunity to make a profound social impact through your professional expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Your portfolio will encompass a wide range of strategic and tactical responsibilities designed to ensure program success and customer satisfaction:

  • Program Strategy & Planning: Develop, document, and implement comprehensive program plans that align with customer mission objectives, budget constraints, timeline requirements, and regulatory compliance mandates. You will create roadmaps that guide programs from inception through successful completion.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the internal expert regarding Federal government procurement processes, contract requirements, security protocols, and agency-specific operational needs. Provide guidance to sales teams, technical specialists, and executive leadership on complex program matters.
  • Requirements Management: Lead the definition and tracking of operational objectives, ensuring schedule adherence, strict budget compliance, and meaningful stakeholder engagement throughout all program phases. Translate customer requirements into actionable execution plans.
  • Customer & Partner Support: Oversee operational support for customers and channel partners within the Federal segment, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless coordination between all parties involved in program delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Establish clear operational objectives and assignments for sales operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement. Mentor junior team members and share best practices across the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Apply proven project management methodology to identify, analyze, and implement improvements to sales programs and operational processes—from initial planning and prioritization to pricing strategies, margin optimization, sales automation, and performance reporting.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent and proactive communication with diverse stakeholder groups, including government contracting officers, program managers, technical teams, and arenaflex executive leadership. Deliver regular status updates, milestone reports, and risk assessments.
  • Issue Resolution: Anticipate, identify, and overcome unexpected difficulties or roadblocks throughout the project lifecycle. Employ advanced problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguity and deliver results in complex, dynamic business environments.

Essential Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who bring a proven track record of success in managing complex, high-stakes programs:

  • U.S. Citizenship & Security Clearance: You must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government personnel security clearance at the TS – SCI level (Sensitive Compartmented Information). This requirement is non-negotiable due to the sensitive nature of Federal government engagements.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 12 years of related experience in a professional program or project management role. You must demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional program teams without formal authority, aligning projects to strategic business goals while managing diverse stakeholder expectations.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional documentation, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style across a variety of stakeholder groups—from technical specialists to senior government executives. You must be comfortable presenting complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Adaptive Problem-Solving: The ability to thrive amid ambiguity and achieve results in complex, rapidly changing business environments. You should possess a proactive mindset and the capacity to anticipate challenges before they become obstacles.
  • Negotiation Expertise: Advanced negotiation skills with a track record of successfully navigating complex contracting scenarios, balancing customer requirements with business objectives, and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of key sales and management reporting tools, CRM systems, project management software, and data visualization platforms. Familiarity with Federal procurement systems such as SAM.gov is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

While not strictly required, the following qualifications will significantly enhance your candidacy:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are viewed favorably and demonstrate your commitment to professional development.
  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, or equivalent program management credentials that validate your expertise and commitment to the profession.
  • Federal Government Experience: Direct experience working with U.S. Federal government agencies, including familiarity with agency-specific procurement processes, contracting regulations (FAR, DFARS), security requirements, and compliance frameworks. Understanding of the unique culture and decision-making processes within government organizations.
  • Technology Industry Background: Prior experience in the technology sector, particularly within sales operations, customer success, or program management roles at enterprise-level organizations.

Skills & Competencies for Success

To excel in this role, you will leverage a combination of technical expertise and interpersonal skills:

  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to see the big picture while attending to critical details. You must align day-to-day activities with broader organizational strategy and customer mission goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven capability to work effectively with diverse teams—including sales, technical, finance, legal, and executive stakeholders—without formal authority.
  • Program Management Mastery: Expertise in applying project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) to plan, execute, and close programs successfully.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements and program optimizations.
  • Resilience & Adaptability: The capacity to remain effective under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt to evolving customer requirements and market conditions.
  • Customer Advocacy: A genuine passion for customer success, with the ability to advocate for customer needs internally while managing expectations realistically.
